About Spirit & Journey | Our Story & Spiritual Store
Spirit & Journey is an Australian spiritual store for curious minds, meaningful rituals and the everyday practice of coming back to yourself. Founded by Lars, our store brings together crystals and stones, tarot and oracle cards, spiritual books, incense, singing bowls and symbolic jewellery.
Whether you are beginning a spiritual practice, searching for your next book or choosing a thoughtful gift, our aim is simple: help you find something that feels meaningful, with clear information to guide your choice.
Meet Lars, Founder of Spirit & Journey
My name is Lars. My background as a qualified holistic counsellor and parapsychologist has shaped the way I approach Spirit & Journey: with curiosity, reflection and respect for each person's individual path.
I have long been interested in the stories we carry, the beliefs that shape us and the moments when a new perspective makes room for change. I think of this as looking through the Smokey Mirror, noticing the old patterns and expectations that can cloud our view of ourselves.
I created Spirit & Journey as a place to explore those questions through books, symbolism and intentional everyday practices. Spiritual tools do not need to hold all the answers. Sometimes their value is in helping us pause, ask a better question and listen more closely to ourselves.
Crystals, Tarot Cards and Tools for Your Spiritual Journey
Our collection offers different ways to explore spirituality, meditation and self-reflection:
- Crystals and stones: Pieces to appreciate for their natural beauty, collect, give as gifts or incorporate into personal rituals.
- Tarot and oracle cards: Decks for exploring symbolism, journalling, daily card pulls and reflective practice.
- Spiritual books: Reading for curious seekers, including new and pre-loved books in The Sacred Library.
- Incense and diffusers: Tools for creating an atmosphere that supports your chosen rituals and moments of stillness.
- Tibetan singing bowls: Sound instruments to explore as part of meditation and mindful listening.
- Jewellery and accessories: Wearable symbols and personal reminders of what matters to you.
Each person's relationship with these tools is different. You might be drawn to a stone's colour, a deck's artwork, a book's ideas or the sound of a singing bowl. There is room here for discovery without pressure to follow a particular belief system.
Our Approach: Guided by Spirit, Grounded in Discernment
We welcome spiritual exploration while valuing practical judgement and personal choice. Traditional crystal meanings, energy practices and divination are expressions of spiritual belief, not promises of medical treatment or guaranteed outcomes.
A tarot card can offer a prompt for reflection. A crystal can become a personal reminder of an intention. A book can introduce a perspective you have not considered before. What you take from the experience remains yours to decide.
The Sacred Library: New and Pre-Loved Spiritual Books
Books are an important part of Spirit & Journey. The Sacred Library brings together new and pre-loved reading for people interested in spirituality, esoteric ideas and personal exploration.
A pre-loved book carries a history of its own. When choosing a copy, read its individual listing for the available edition details and condition information so you can find the right book for your shelf and your journey.
Our Mission
Spirit & Journey exists to support thoughtful exploration, not to tell you what your story should be. We offer tools, reading and inspiration that invite you to slow down, reflect and choose your next chapter with intention.
Explore our collections to find a spiritual book, crystal, tarot deck or ritual tool that speaks to your curiosity. Your story is still unfolding. We are glad to be part of the journey.
